Perovskites have many properties that make them popular materials for solar cell applications. Most current perovskite thin film coatings are performed using spin coating, a simple and reliable technique capable of producing highly uniform films. However, spin coating is generally only suitable for coating small substrates, not for substrates of several square meters. And spin coating is also a wasteful coating process, as most of the ink to be applied will come off the substrate during deposition. Therefore, more and more research scientists are beginning to study coating technology.

We deposit perovskite photovoltaic devices by ultrasonic spraying, which can be coated at high speed on large-area substrates, and has high liquid utilization and less waste. Compared with the spin coater, the droplet size of the atomized spray by the ultrasonic sprayer is small, and the deposited coating is more uniform and thin.
