Ultrasonic Spray Equipments for Creating Thin Films
Cheersonic‘s laboratory ultrasonic spray equipments for creating thin films mainly for electrolyzers or fuel cells. Examples include a solution of Nafion or a mixture of Nafion with platinum (for solid polymer fuel cells) or solutions of electrolytes. Cheersonic has focused on the automation and ultrasonic coating technology for more than two decades and supplies the ultrasonic thin film coater in the advanced energy and electronics industry.
Ultrasonic coating systems produce highly durable, uniform, coatings of carbon-based catalyst inks onto both fuel cell and electrolysis processes for proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzers such as Nafion, without deformation of the membrane. Uniform catalyst coatings are deposited onto PEM fuel cells, GDLs, electrodes, various electrolyte membranes, and solid oxide fuel cells with suspensions containing carbon black inks, PTFE binder, ceramic slurries, platinum and other precious metals.
