Ultrasonic Spray Coating for OLED
Ultrasonic Spray Coating for OLED – Thin Films Coating – Cheersonic
The ultrasonic spraying process has the advantages of high material utilization, low manufacturing cost, and is suitable for streamlined production, and has always been attractive in the research of optoelectronic devices. However, the surface tension present in solvents remains a huge obstacle to achieving smooth organic films for organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) through ultrasonic spraying processes. Here, by introducing an ultra-low surface tension diluent and a surface tension control method, a high-quality polymer anode buffer layer and small molecule emitting layer were successfully achieved through an ultrasonic spraying process.
The ultrasonic spraying process has a high material utilization rate of more than 90% and has attracted attention as a new deposition technology for low-cost optoelectronics, and it has also shown the potential to form organic thin films from low-viscosity organic solutions.
