According to its design and the backbone composition of the micro guide wire, the guide wire core can be divided into stainless steel core micro guide wire, nickel titanium alloy core micro guide wire and composite alloy flat core micro guide wire.

(1) Stainless steel core micro guide wire, this kind of micro guide wire has good torque control performance, the head end is ray resistant, can be molded into any shape, and is easy to twist.

(2) The nickel titanium alloy core micro guide wire, whose head end has been preformed into a J shape, has no damage to the blood vessel wall, is suitable for less complex vascular anatomy, and has good resistance to twisting.

(3) Composite alloy flat core micro guide wire, this kind of micro guide wire has good torque control, and its torsion resistance is superior to stainless steel core micro guide wire, but inferior to nickel titanium alloy core micro guide wire. The head end can be molded into arbitrary shape.
