Dense mesh stent, also known as blood flow guiding device, is a new type of interventional embolic material. It uses the change of blood flow in the parent artery at the neck of the aneurysm to assist with a small amount or no auxiliary coils to seal or greatly reduce the blood flow into the aneurysm or arterial dissection while ensuring the patency of the branch vessels. It is suitable for the treatment of complex and difficult treated intracranial aneurysm.
The mesh of the dense mesh stent is extremely small, so that the blood flow of the aneurysm is blocked to form a thrombus, and it works through the hemodynamic mechanism. Interfering with the blood flow in the aneurysm while protecting the collateral vessels and providing a scaffold for the rapid recovery of the endothelium is the nemesis and the ultimate killer of refractory aneurysms.
Ultrasonic stent spraying systems can be used to prepare polymer coatings to prevent restenosis on the surface of implantable stents. Compared with conventional two-fluid nozzles, ultrasonic nozzles can spray a more uniform drug coating that completely covers the stent without orange peel. The soft atomized spray can adhere well to the surface, and the morphological characteristics of the coating can be adjusted by modifying the process parameters. In addition, the stent coating obtained by ultrasonic spraying technique is thinner than dip coating. Ultrasonic spraying technology can precisely control the amount of medicine sprayed on the stent, so that the spraying control is more precise.
