Anticoagulant Coating
Anticoagulant Coating – Blood Collection Tube and Syringe Coating – Cheersonic
Vascular intervention technology can effectively treat vascular diseases. Compared with traditional surgery, it has the advantages of less trauma, low response, fast recovery and high targeting. In some fields, it has replaced surgery as the preferred treatment method.
How does interventional surgery reduce the probability of thrombosis?
Interventional surgery is the use of medical imaging equipment to introduce precision instruments such as special catheters into blood vessels in the body for minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of diseases. However, when most catheters made of foreign materials come into contact with blood, they will activate the human body’s coagulation system and platelets, generate thrombin, and combine with macromolecules such as fibrinogen, causing blood cells to adhere to the blood vessel wall and form thrombus.
How to reduce the probability of thrombosis is a problem that must be overcome in interventional therapy.
A number of strategies have been used to address the problem of thrombosis. These strategies are inspired by the way our bodies avoid triggering the blood clotting cascade through biomimetic approaches, such as mimicking cell membranes, enhancing surface affinity for serum proteins such as albumin, promoting cell adhesion, containing or immobilizing anticoagulants ( such as heparin), or directly enhance the surface hydrophilicity. The increase in surface energy facilitates wetting, which further contributes to improved lubricity in an aqueous environment, resulting in anticoagulant properties of the device.
Ultrasonic nozzles are particularly suitable for a wide range of medical coating applications due to their very precise, non-blocking, repeatable spray performance and extremely low flow rate capability. For several years, Cheersonic has been providing ultrasonic medical coating system to medical device manufacturers worldwide. As medical device technology evolves, we will continue to design unique medical coating ultrasonic spray solutions to enhance patient safety and provide the highest quality medical device coating on the market.
