Large Scale Preparation Process of Catalyst Powder
In the industrial application of catalytic materials, the scale-up from laboratory bench scale to mass production is the key link to realize industrial transformation. For the mass production demand of iron-based rare earth catalysts, we rely on mature solution combustion synthesis and ultrasonic spray pyrolysis processes to complete targeted process optimization and equipment adaptation, which can accurately meet the large-scale preparation requirements of different types and capacities of catalyst powders.
Lanthanum ferrite catalysts are mainly prepared by the solution combustion method with stable performance and high product consistency. According to the industrial upgrading demand, we have optimized the whole process parameters including raw material ratio, reaction time and sintering conditions. The scaled-up production capacity of lanthanum ferrite catalyst reaches 50kg per week, which can stably supply high-purity and high-activity nano-powders for pilot and industrial applications.
For cerium ferrite catalyst production scale-up, the nano-powder ultrasonic spray pyrolysis system is applied to realize the scale-up from lab scale to kilogram-level production. Adopting the composite precursor system of nitrate and citric acid, the system realizes precise temperature control within 600-800℃. It effectively avoids powder agglomeration and uneven activity in traditional processes. After repeated debugging and verification, the daily stable production capacity reaches 10kg, with excellent powder consistency and batch stability.
